It all started when our founder, Chris Vaillancourt, was working a summer job in his hometown of New Bedford, MA. It was in the retail fishing industry and he noticed that the ships required so much upkeep that seemed absolutely unnecessary. Yearly paintings, rebuilding their walls and decks... Chris knew there had to be a better way.

We know you fish and don't have time to talk paint jobs. So the long and short of it is: Chris developed a paint and sealant method which can go for over 5 years without a touch up and helps prevent deck rot twice as much as your average commercial sealant.
